The Croatian firefighting association in cooperation with the Firefighting association of Primorsko-goranska County organizes a two-day international seminar (1st day: workshop and round table; 2nd day: seminar) to be held in Opatija (Croatia), on April the 10th-11th, 2014.
The partners involved in the “Strategic buildings’ Earthquake risk assessment, prevention and monitoring” activities met themselves to analyze the present monitoring methodologies of the Strategic Public Buildings (SPBs) and related data collection procedures and software in order to capitalize them to establish common instruments for monitoring and evaluate seismic damage risks security and to develop joint proposals for legislative and institutional regulations for SPBs’ protection.
All the partners involved in the actively participated in the workshop, some on site and some remotely by Skype and all the planned objectives of the workshop were reached:

The next workshop will be held in Dubrovnik on the half of May.
Holistic project Lead Beneficiary, Split-Dalmatia County (Croatia), has succcesfully organised the kick off meeting of the project HOLISTIC in Split on the 20th-22nd of January 2014.
Lead Beneficiary of Holistic (Split-Dalmatia County - Croatia) organises the kick off meeting of the project at Hotel Park, Hatzeov perivoj 3, 21000 Split (http://hotelpark-split.hr/) from 20th until 22nd January 2014.
Italian Beneficiaries of HOLISTIC project have been invited to a technical seminar organized by the Managing Authority of the IPA CBC Programme on the 17th of december in L'aquila (Via Da Vinci n° 6 - Palazzo Silone) in order to dicuss the procedure and modalities of expenses reporting connected to the implementation of the project.
With the support of Joint Technical Secretariat and the Italian first level control office, there will be provided practical hints and clarifications regarding the specific matter of financial reporting and reimbursement.
Italian beneficiaries of Holistic project will participate with the project and financial manager, who are endorsed and directly responsible for the implementation activities.
